International Environment Congress IREMCON Recycling, Waste Management Investment and Cooperation Opportunities Congress was held on 17 April 2015 in Congresium- Ankara. The congress was supported by R.T. MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT AND URBAN PLANNING, R.T. MINISTRY OF FORESTRY AND WATER AFFAIRS, R.T. MINISTRY OF ECONOMY as well as WATER AND WASTE DEPARTMENT OF GERMANY MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT, TURKISH ASSOCIATION OF MUNICIPALITIES, REC TURKEY REGIONAL ENVIRONMENT CENTRE, COMPETITION AUTHORITY, TMMOB CHAMBER OF ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERS and many other institutions and organizations.
In the congress, the international investors drew attention to bidirectional black economy in waste and told that wastes should be registered. By reinforcement of international cooperation, the environment shall be protected more effectively and a common gain shall be ensured by creating economic opportunities. Underlining significance of sharing experiences, all investors demand legal infrastructure and guarantee for continuity.
