INTERNATIONAL AUTHORITIES IS SET TO DISCUSS WASTE ECONOMY IN ISTANBUL..

INTERNATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL CONFERENCE, entitled IREMCON as an acronym, is  organized by Grup E to provide a forum for international authorities who are the leaders in their respective fields to share and exchange their views on their expertise, experience and successes in recycling and waste management and evaluate economic and investment opportunities and establish a solid ground for development of international cooperation.

The conference which will be held in Istanbul during 21-22 March 2018 under the main sponsorship of AKADEMİ ÇEVRE, will be attended by numerous ministry representatives from the Balkan Countries and also by top level managers of various institutions, organisations and waste management companies. The conference led by Mr. Mustafa Akalp as the Executive Board President and Dr. Caner Zanbak as the Technical Committee President, will be attended by speakers from Turkey and Balkan countries, namely Albania, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, Macedonia, Romania and Serbia.

IREMCON carries the distinction of being the first international conference in Turkey on Waste Management and Recycling which is supported by international organisations, institutions and companies that are leaders in their respective areas with successful performance.

The Conference will have two special panel sessions and will start with an invited speech of Prof. Dr. Mehmet Emin Birpınar, Deputy Undersecretary of Ministry of Environment and Urban Affairs and Chief Negotiator of Turkey for Climate Change at UN on "Challenge against Climate Change at Global Scale and Zero Waste in Turkey"

In this two-day conference, IREMCON, there will be thirty five oral presentations and a poster presentation session.
